Hi folks,
I have a 2010 Keeway Venus, with what I suspect is a flooded carb. When I try the kickstart or the electric start, it just gives a loud wheezy turning sound. The problem is that I can't even get to the carb, as doing some reading on this forum, it appears I have remove a lot of the main panels.
Does anyone have access to an online manual or can give some hints where the carb access is?
Thanks a lot, Rob

On the Venus, You have to pretty much remove the entire back end to get to the carb.
First, remove the four bolts under the seat to loosen the seat tub. You can't get the tub off just yet but loosening it will make the rest go easier.
Then, remove the side rear panels. There are screws under the two reflectors on the sides. Grab the reflector and spin it to the left with one hand while holding the nut on the back side with the other hand to get them off. Then you can remove the screws underneath the reflectors.
Next, there is a long bolt under the seat hinge. Remove that bolt and the plastic piece under the seat hinge will come off. It can be a hassle sometimes. That's why you removed the 4 seat bolts in the first step to give it some wiggle room.
Finally, remove the two bolts at the rear of the scooter on either side of the rear splash guard and remove the gas cap to get the rear end off. Then the seat and seat tub will come out and then you can get at the carb and everything else.

Wow, I was hoping this wouldn't be the case. Thanks a lot Fox, I really appreciate the detailed description.
I'll post my findings, hopefully shortly! Rob
