I have an issue w/ my scooter and I'm hoping someone would could help me out. I have a 2009 Bashan scooter w/ less than 300 miles on it giving me a headache. I can start and and it will run but it will only run for a little while and bog and out. So far I have replaced the carb and electronic choke, the battery, the ignition coil, the CDI, and the spark plug. I'v also verified that the valve clearance is .002. The air filter is clean and no blockages, the vacuum charcoal canister is put on in the proper direction. It has fresh 98 octane gas. The petcock works as it should. no intake leaks around anywhere. If anyone has anymore ideas let me know, thanks!

That may be a bit tight on the valve clearance

I will test the coil and let you know the results but i don't think that will be the issue because it doesn't really get hot before it bogs out but i'll look into it, also I have tried different clearances up to .006.

Sorry for the late post, found the issue. Fuel petcock diaphragm was damaged causing the fuel to go through the vacuum side of the house which is hooked up to the intake manifold causing it to flood and cut out.
