I had my crankshaft brake on my 50cc scooter what could have caused. This to happen

Did you install a big bore kit? Were you revving the rpm's over 8,000 for extended periods? How many miles were on your scoot? Is the engine a 2T or 4T? (2 stroke or 4 stroke) What kind of scooter is it? Bill

Lotsa people run these little GY6 motors hard and fast....but they aren't made for it.
And how are you sure the crank broke?

Welcome! Like the above questions...a crank failure on a low rpm 50cc engine? Super uncommon, if not a first, ever. Bearing failures can happen...then crank damage from a bad bearing. Definitely need more information to help you! We run Gy6 engines at 12K plus, with upgraded bearings...no crank damage.
