Yes, i threw in the towel and decided to try aliexpress on a cheap order - namely through the glixal store. Just placed the order for a variety of 139qmb springs and their cheap a9 cam lol
Other than a pretty ruthless account and order setup which had me bounce back and forth from my phone and the computer, i finally got all my parts shipping in one box which saved me 20 something dollars.
If shipping costs from china werent so ruthless...
I'll report back when i get my parts

Careful shopping is needed. Indicated prices may/may not include shipping, or the actual item displayed.
Some vendors break up an assembly, quote the price for one part.. with a picture of the whole thing.
Compare shipping costs as they will inflate shipping with a come-on price for the item.
And you will wait for the product. Some will not show up, and you must file a dispute to get a refund. Some vendors indicate features they KNOW are not available on the advertised product.
Be careful. tom

This one is a very basic order just to "test" buying from the "Glixal Official Store" through aliexpress.
As an update, i did just receive verification that UPS just picked up the package, so the store did use 6 of their 7 days to ship. I did keep an eye on the price to ship as well, and made sure all three items i purchased were all tagged to ship via the same shipping method - ups express delivery (which aliexpress noted i saved something like 20+ bucks on shipping because of that). I should note that 1 item would have been $21.70 shipped via ups, and all 3 combined also ended up being $21.70.
Will update when it hits customs.

Well, i did get my order - early even! And for an economy stack of parts, they werent half bad! A few cosmetic flaws, nothing harming integral operation, so all work just as they should. Considering the hassle i did have to navigate on the ali website and waiting to within 24 hours of their deadline to ship, i'd give them an economical B+. Would i order from them again? Eh... theres better parts and local shipping and honest customer support at partsforscooters.com.
