hey guy, i have a hyper tough h2500 series weed eater and all of the sudden the primer bulb stopped working. it wont suck and fuel in at all and when i press it it stays sucked in. only goes back only when i pull the gas line off of it. i will get some pictures of it because its not like other bulbs. my other 2 weed eaters have the same but not as the hyper tough one. the one im having issues with the bulb is like a plate that has a "cardboard" gasket and a thin plasticy secondary gasket. cant find them anywhere!!!

Tear the carb apart. There is a small screen inside that might be cleaned. Wouldn't hurt to replace all fuel lines with Tygon ones

If they are black rubber fuel line then chances are they have broken down over time from the ethanol in the gasoline. This is usually after the filter in the tank and the particles of fuel line will muck up the carb. If you using true fuel or any other ethanol free gasoline you might be fine. Ethanol and rubber do not play well together.

Not sure how much more help I can offer ya. Iv worked on more of those carbs than I can count. Just worked on another one for a customer today. Here are some pics of the mess that fuel lines make when they break down. Carb screen removed Rolling while pinching fuel line. If you look close at the old fuel line you can see the deterioration inside the line. These vids might help some. Just keep in mind that the primer system "pulls/sucks" the fuel thru the carb. Mixing the fuel/return lines with make the primer system not work.
