Ok most of these Scoots come with the E4lbs battery, you can drop in an E5lbs,but the issue is the battery door in the floorboard, won't close right, the E5lbs is exactly the same, but a 1/4 inch taller, on the bottom of the battery door,is a plastic grid, for reinforcement , I discovered the grid is exactly 1/4 of an inch tall..by grinding out the center if the grid, you gain your extra 1/4 inch height clearance. Sorry for the Google share, imjur is broke again photos.app.goo.gl/KfRwAJWM4TbAHrD98

Yup, and you can always add a piece of dense/hard foam or rubber spacer if you decide to go back to the regular battery.

The four is a joke, Changing up one battery really makes a difference ,I've heard from a lot of people that the 11 pole stator will also over charge the four, you have to add load to it lol

I'm going to measure the box when I get home, I'm really wondering if I can fit a es9bs in there, the height is the same,it's a good size battery box

It will fit the ES battery, it will leave about a 1/16 left on the sides, so it should slide right in. The other dimension leaves plenty of room, and it's the same height as the 5lbs,I need to do a little more trimming,on the lid,but it should fit, I changed all my lights to LED, and I'm converting the headlight as well, so I want the bigger battery for enough reserve on the lights to get home,in an emergency, I'm in the process of the 11 pole conversion, so all my lights are DC,
