well i decided to treat myself to a new phone. by new phone i mean i changed companies and all on my phone. was with at&t using a hacked blackberry storm from Verizon. it was a great phone did what i wanted at the time but the screen started to not respond at all so was time to change to something new. i went with virgin mobile got a android OS Motorola triumph. well paid 300.00 usd for the phone but it only cost me 35.00 usd a month for unlimited data, text and 300 minuets . seeing as i never use the phone as a phone even on my old plan it is fine. now this is saving me around 90.00 usd a month vs at&t. i love the phone and the OS but i don't like the junk apps i cant delete from the phone. but i also do not want to Root the phone. hmmmmmm long story short this is why my scooter will be stock longer then i was planning.  :lmao: |

Congrats on the new phone. I know exactly squat about new phones. My cell is an old Razr on a prepaid plan, primarily for emergencies. I do like the stuff the smart phones are capable of, but it's never been worth the money to me. I don't think I've spent 2hrs on the phone in the last year. I know some people that seem to spend 2hrs on their phones every 2hrs. lol

Congrat on the new phone I too got a android phone not long ago and as it is it wasn't 2 weeks and I had it rooted. LOL Oh it makes a big diff you can make the battery last longer and also make it run faster when it is needed by overclocking the processer in it. But the best thing has to be the free wifi tether since I didn't have internet at home that is how i get online now and it works great.

yeah i rooted it the day after that post, had it for less the twenty four hours and its rooted. but the phone has only been out for a few months so no cm7 for my phone yet.

there is a guy who proted cm7 nut nothing works yet. motorola responded and said they are preping the dev kit for release. so yes soon XD
