went to start my scooter today but no power to the ignition head lights comes on but when I turn on the ignition it does not start my guess is a loose wire should I start around ignition or somewhere else

I would check my start button and associated wiring, but first, if you leave your scooter out in the rain, with the key on, try your brakes. Your brake light has to light, with the brake(s)applied (key on, either front, or back) for the starter to get power.

took it apart the starter casing and messsed with it and it started but turned it off and will not start again so I need a new starter button switch, I have been kick starting it but i would rather have a new starter button switch
