Hello, so tommorow I am picking up a kymco vitality 2008 15k kilometres with a 70cc kit. I asked the owner and he said the only change he did was the kit. I know next to nothing about motors, and i was wondering if anyone could walk me through what I should do to make sure the engine is running at it's full capacity. spark plugs jets etc. but as previously mentioned, I know next to nothing, so please explain what you mean when talking about jets, and no fancy words. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Monny. We really need a bit more information if you can. Is it running the standard exhaust, or a sports one. Do you know what sort of 70cc kit is fitted? There are quite a few different performing kits out there. Is it still running the auto lube system? Brent has put together a great guide for fitting a 70cc kit. It might be worth a look, and answer some of the questions you may have. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/556/install-big-bore-kit-1e40qmb

I dont know what type of kit, I think its running a standard exhaust but it got changed to a new standard exhaust, auto lube system? if you mean oil, the oil is fine. in the website, it said the main jet was #80 (speed limit type 72), does this mean its 80mm or 72mm? does # mean mm? also slow jet was #35

Also, if I order a new jet, will it fit all scooters?

Welcome to the forum. The 2 stroke performance section is where you want to study at,IMO.carb jets can cross over between different carburetors, but some are brand/type specific.enjoy your scoot.😀
