When I got my ped I didnt like the hanging fender, so i shaved it off. I think it looks better. Then I needed a place for the safety sticker? ..so I made my own tag plate. I had a few people ask me where I got it. I tell'm "I made it.. It's easy!" Here is how! Things you will need
- Sheet metal
- Drill
- Pen/Marker
- Card board
- Spray paint/Primer
- Drill/bits
- Sheet metal sheers/cutters
I got some small reflectors, a small Maui Built Sticker and some screw on spikes for "make Shiney" First, Find two bolts on the air box or.. if you use a UNI filter, just use two bolt in the back of transmission.
Then grab some card board and make a template, this way you can figure out exactly how you like'm. After that trace the template onto the sheet metal! I used multi directional metal sheers. (yellow handle) I cut it out and started bending it! If had jagged edged just sanded it down! After that, I primed it with Rustolium raw metal primer and Matte Black. I put on the reflector, sticker and spikes! Thats it! Now go outside and cut that ugly fender off and fabricate a tag plate! ALOHAZ!
