fairing clip nuts

You know those little metal spring type clip screw nuts that clip over holes so you can screw fairings on - do any chain type stores carry them or can you only get them online?

Hardware stores should carry them. Harbor Freight sells an assortment.

I tried lowes, Ace, Home Depot, AutoZone, Advanced, you are the man Bert.

That is just what I need to put my scoot back together as some of the old hardware was missing and or rusted. The kit was UNDER $8 shipped to my door. That is freaking awesome. I like you.

did you get the hardware I sent you jeff? If you only woulda asked I have prolly 500 or so of those clips. They're called speed nuts. They also come off the new cars and most people toss em. I save all types of little objects cuz they dont take up much space and Sometimes you end losing one small piece o something and boom! Tj's got one(or a dozen) in his tool box.

yes I got the screws - thank you so much - they are perfect, and a great deal. You shipped them so fast. I appreciate that. I want the set above for the clips - the screws were a bonus, but not nearly as nice as the ones you sent me.

Again, thanks for the nice screws, I will put them to good use on the Vento I am working on. Nary a clip or screw was left. The bike was partially disassembled when I got it and in boxes. They must of thrown away the hardware. A little field engineering is in order!
