Hello,
I'm a first-timer to working on any kind of scooter, and I'm happy to find many of my car-repair skills transfer. But they're sure different little beasties!
My nephew bought a TaoTao 49 cc that needs some TLC. I'll be posting in 4-stroke Troubleshooting shortly if I don't find enough info to solve my problems in the tech library or by searching.
