Use a test lamp on the plug connector for the tail light. You ground the alligator clip to the frame and touch each wire/pin on the plug connector with the left blinker on. When the test lamp blinks you now know which wire is the left and then do the right blinker and so on. Harbor Freight has a cheapy test light.

Unless you can find a wiring diagram, what Fox posted is the best way to be sure. That or a multimeter.

This was my configuration for wires from trunk to scooter lights, This has been asked about before, and as long as I had mine done I thought I'd share the wire configuration that works with this type of trunk. The blinkers work with your blinkers. The lights on the handle light with the tail light, with a dim strobe effect that lights fully with the brake light. It's a great gaudy thing, but I need a trunk to fit my work stuff in. This is one of the mods made to my Roadrunner, previously grey, and now a very visible white ;D These are my wires. These are the trunk wires. The blinker wires are self explanatory, yellow to yellow, blue to blue, then black to green (ground). The tail light brake lights are the bigger plug configuration, brown to brown, red to green/yellow, nothing in the solid green here. My trunk wires had a small metal tip attached, I tucked the wires in with the lights wires snuggly, and taped around them to prevent slipping, and to keep any wires from touching.
