@ Brent: Don't worry. There are perhaps three, maybe four Vette's on the island that I know of and none are for rent. Imported with all fees paid a brand new base model 'Vette will cost US$49,045 + approx US$1000 shipping + approx 220% import fees for a total of around US$160,144 or about JM$13.6 million. That's not the reason why they're not here though because we've got enough X5s, X6s, Range Rovers, Escalades, and MLs to make the Sultan of Brunei quite happy. 'Vettes just don't do so well on our tremendously bad roads. Gotta love the Third World <smdh>.
As for your trip to Jamaica, oh pulease. You have a choice flying out of Baltimore and Philadelphia daily. Not to mention during the winter when United flies in from Dulles. Somebody will usually have a fare that you can afford.

I've been given 3 tickets in the 4 years I've rode scoots. 1 for speeding (45 in a 35) was lucky the cop did not show up because there was other things involved. 2nd was for failure to signal kind of like what you got and the 3rd was for passing in a non passing zone. Car was making a left hand turn and I went around him on the right. Apparently that's illegal regardless if theirs a line or not.
Tough luck though man. Hopefully it gets taken care of. I still find it funny getting some sort of ticket while driving a scooter. Even though I would rather ride a scoot then drive a car to be honest.
