That honda is such a rediculous and douchy machine. Its like an ice cream truck on two wheels.

Note that the window sign behind it says it's a hogg. (I think 'Hog' is trademarked.) But in all fairness, at least it's two wheels. Picture of The Nags Head is priceless! The town of Nags Head, North Carolina is just a few miles down the road.

A friend's father owned (IIRC) 3 Goldwings and loved them. Swore they were the best bike on the planet. I think they may have been for him, because he traveled a lot, both for business and leisure. Hard to beat a Goldwing if you want to rack up tons of miles on interstates. I never rode it, but heard many testimonials that the passenger seat was comfortable enough to fall asleep in. Looks like the dash of a small car if you sit on it. I just personally would have no desire to deal with something like 850lb of bike (then imagine a passenger and some luggage) anywhere but open roads.

My niece has fond memories of falling asleep on the back or her dad's goldwing when she was young. Second-hand testimonial, I just can't imagine falling asleep on a bike. Of course I am not a whitenoise sleeper either.

I just can't imagine falling asleep on a bike. I have dozed off while operating scooters a couple of times. Extremely brief... like my eyes closed and then I woke back up a second later... but terrifying nonetheless. The down side of pushing myself to ride for long periods of time, especially late when I've rode for a long time multiple days in a row. The night that I hit the deer, I was humming or whatever because I was barely able to stay awake and just wanted to make it home. I never thought it was possible, but after years of riding apparently it is for me. I'd have to imagine anything more than a few seconds and it would be a definite crash.
