Saw a Tank scoot today...with a diff engine number...it is 1P47QMB. Confused me a bit....not sure if it is an overbore 50 or an underbore 150. It is called a 100 so maybe at 47mm and a 150 block and crank stroke it is 100...vice the 83 it would be on a 50cc block? Anybody ever seen or heard of this engine?... :stumped:

I guess it could go either way, but looking at the CVT cover you should be able to tell if it's a 50 or 150 style. I would think it'd be a 47mm bore version of the 1P39QMB which would make it a 72cc. There are a lot of folks finding 44 and 47mm bores stock, they just aren't usually labeled as such. The B at the end designates that it's a 50cc.

Looked again today at work....was wrong...belt is a 743 20 30.... Block looks identical to the 150 short case....piston is 47 mm. So with that cases stroke..it must be only 100cc.... I wonder what that was all about? :zap:
