evening all I'm new to the whole scoot thing I just bought a new knockoff 139qmb gy6 50cc scoot and just did my first oil change this after noon so at the same time I figured I would check the belt and clutch when I took off the belt cover this plastic ring fell out of the cover and I have no clue if it is needed or not or even where it came from.. here are some pics of the piece that fell out   any help would be great thanks.. |

well it just worried me that when I popped off the belt cover that something like that fell out..
I have no idea as to what or where it came from I just know that is when I seen it on the ground..

That is the ring that sits between your kick start gear and kick start spring.... No big deal if it falls off.

sweet thank god it's nothing major..
another question I've readon several different fourms that for the engine oil I should use like a 10-w30 or 10-w40 but on my engine cover it states to use 15w-14 what do you all think I should run?? this is a 139qmb gy6 50cc

I have been using 10w-40 synthetic in "Agi".(kymco agility, figured id call her agi....lol)

I believe in the 15/40 oil. One of our customer has 12000 miles on his scooter using royal purple 15/40 oil

I've been useing rotella t15-40 in all my 4&6 tire rides and I love it so I think I will roll with the 15-40 oil then.. thanks for the input..
