www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG9D8fNEWTY This is my chassis I had built 20 years ago. It is a unique design and out handled every other kart on the track. I used an RS125 Honda road race bike motor on it. My friend that owns it now uses a Vortec 125 Italian gearbox go kart motor. This video is shot at Grattan Raceway in Mich. The track is scary in a laydown kart. Every time you can't see anything there is a corner coming. You have to remember your marks and max speed for every turn. At 1:15 or so there is a downhill/off camber/decreasing radius turn you can't see the apex until you are there. After you start to drift right it goes uphill and you get your traction back. A 45 minute race would leave you drained physically and mentally.
