I run 45 psi, never had a problem with "overinflation" tire wear. I would personally suggest 45psi if your tires max pressure allows it.

Go with the tire's recommended pressure. Usually you want to be at least 25-30 psi, if not better. I don't know how your running 2-3 psi... I have 3.0psi front and back.
Here's what i am getting not running over grooves intentionally, however if i get into that is way smaller and not so deep my angle change perhaps cuz contact path is very small (over inflated).

Are you sure your not getting mixed up with the bar measurement? 2 bar = 29 psi.

Also, what the hell are you doing on the freeway? In the fast lane?? Get your slow ass on the shoulder. And inflate your tires. Low tires grab ruts MORE. And your not supposed to ride in the tire ruts. Ride outside of them.

I think Paul hit it and katt is stating bar. 1 bar is roundabout 15psi just to keep the math super simple, so 3 bar is roughly 45psi or 2 is roughly 30psi. That's a pretty good range for scooter tire pressures. At 2-3psi the tire is essentially flat and will handle like horse crap or maybe the bead will unseat itself under stress. I've had a tire going flat from a screw come off of the wheel on a turn (thankfully slow) and it really sucks so don't ride around like that.
YouTube stretched the video for some reason and I can't get it back to normal ATM, but I have a video of the tire coming off of the wheel at low pressure.

That's sketchy Brent. You would of thought the rotational forces would of forced something that big out of the tyre.

I've gone through a lot of them. Another highlight was back before I had a camera, but I ran over an oyster shell and it ripped a few inch gash in my tire. Doesn't even seem like that should be possible.

Gulls drop oysters and clams to eat the insides and to increase your riding pleasure. Please make peace with your local wildlife so you'll be here a long time.

I ride in the rain but not snow, this is my wet suit its cheap and cheerful I wear the top all the time over a coverall one piece ski suit and stop to put the trousers on as and when ,the bottoms a little over size and covers mid chest to over my boots,it stops the rain pooling in the crotch area and only takes a small space when not required.photo taken in the dark flash only. Oh I’ll get out there later today. We have a Walmart/Target run scheduled and since I don’t have a sidecar we’ll be TinTopping it.
