Tried searching for a thread on this but the word oil is too short. ha!
In regards to two stroke mix oil (I trashed the oil injector on the Triton, and all I can find around here is t3 stuff for boats except for Lowes - they had a synthetic/natural blend that claims to work for any air cooled 2 stroke engine ratio if you put 2.6 oz in one gallon of gas.
It is called pro-mix and is a synthetic blend that claims it can be used for 50:1, 40:1, 32:1 or 16:1 all with the same 2.6oz to a gallon. Comments???
What brands do you use and where can you get it - store names? Hate to order liquids on the internet.

I used to run Castrol non-synthetic but after reading some posts I've been running Lucas semi synthetic for a few months now. I pre-mix in 4 oz. per gallon. (32:1) I pick it up at my local auto parts store.

I use AMSOil Sabre Professional Pre-Mix 100:1 synthetic, mixed at 50:1. I buy it online from AMSOil a case at a time. Tried searching for a thread on this but the word oil is too short. ha! You can use a wildcard to assist in short term searches. For example, oil is too short so you search for oil* instead. Better still, scroll to the bottom of a page and you'll see a search bar. It's a custom Google search that searches the forum and the site.

i use Ski-Doo Full Synthetic, mercury marine test i lot of high end synthetic oils in there out boards to see witch one improved rmp, life of the bearings and a few other thing. They found out that this ski-doo oil was the 2nd best, to some German oil not sold over here.
I believe there are right, because my dads scooter we have always ran the crappiest oils in there. and one day i didn't have an crap oil and need to go to work(after my brother ran it out of oil...) i put that oil in and it went from running around 10000-11 to 12-13 rpms. you don't have to believe me but thats just my two cents

I am curious how jmkjr72 would know that is crap oil. Have you tested or tried that particular oil?
