Yeah, even with low humidity 98F is pretty nasty.

By golly it was record LOW temperature one month to record HIGH the next. There WAS no "Spring." I refused to put the window units in before June is even here. Well damn, it's supposed to cool down 30F lower than where we just were. The house is finally down to 76F and it feels amazingly cool. Jee jawwwwsss

Today's weather is weird like winter is approaching at 49f and they reckon tomorrow is going to be really hot at 78f. My grandson has just flown to the State's Atlanta to meet his girlfriend who came over here earlier in the year and said he's glad places have AC over there. He's never been out of England before but reckons visiting us in Wales counts as a foreign country 🤔

Wales IS a foreign country, somewhere like Mars or Venus, Neptune, Saturn, or UR-Anus, aliens everywhere, three eyes, extra arms, tails, Some say green and blue Bloody Roos everywhere. Weird place - milly lives there.

Well here it is wet. Very, very wet. And all weekend too. A weather warning is in place. I think you are right Frank. Milly is living on another planet from me.

Milly has a big melon patch out back, the kind Donald Sutherland wanders around in. Sounds like you may have one too if it keeps raining so those melons grow fast for an extra harvest. It has been years since the gardens and melon patches have been discussed here.

Well this morning we had to have the light on in the bungalow to read properly till about 9.30 and then the dark clouds cleared and it's been really hot and sunny. This afternoon I am only doing things for about 10 mins at a time and going back in soaked in sweat. Yolanda says the temp outside is 80.6f with no breeze, inside is 68f.

We had some light drizzle last night. Then the Chiefs played and won. The skies lit up with fireworks. Today it is cooler at 77°F, quite pleasant outside. I must go out and feed the 10 feral cats outside. Two adults have been fixed but two have not. Anyone want some kittens? I have six of them. I have to visit the local branch of the ASPCA.

I love melons but don't think they would grow here FrankenMech. aeroxbud isn't your place you live an island so you are not even part of the UK. This evening it started to cool then all of a sudden got really dark again in the same direction as this morning almost like a thunderstorm was brewing but nothing happened just got really clammy and still with no breeze.

milly , you wouldn't like those melons... They 'snatch' you. Sometimes they are beside the bed, sometimes under it, then there are closet dwelling varieties or those that live under the stairs, in attics, or cellars... Of course if it isn't alien melons it is Triffids. They are everywhere just waiting for the right conditions of heat and humidity. Some varieties like clammy humidity, others like a dry heat. There has been talk that they are causing climate change to suit themselves.

Come to think of it. Triffid does sound like a Welsh word.🤔 And yes Milly an island. We have to sneak across the border when it's dark.

Those people in that tent are so screwed. There are probably more Triffids on the other side of the tent. Where there is one there are more. If the alien vegetables don't get us the giant Wasps will. They can fly in from anywhere. There may be a hive over the hill, or that hill could be a hive. The poor people in the Ukraine will get attacked by 'THEM' after Chernobyl. There have been reports of UFO's that may be establishing new nests in the region. We thought we had all the nests wiped out in the Southwest here in the US after the A-Bomb testing. It may have been Them that caused Chernobyl. Ukrainians are truly screwed like the people in the tent, Orks on the North and East side and Them on the Northwest with Triffids moving up from the Southwest. I hope Godzilla does not appear from the sea. Knock on wood. Even Islands are not safe. The giant Wasps and Them have been flying in melons and Triffids. Even seawater is no defense now that the Wasps fly aircover. Seawater does not bother Them.
