Head check. Each at 9 ml. what are you using to fill up the compression release valve? im building an extra NC50 engine right now with a stuffy crank and a airsal/metrakit cylinder. my kit came with the same head. debating between welding up or using the tap then screw method. I haven't been able to find the correct derbi valve and read the hobbit valve wont fit. I would need to find one of those also. what cylinder are you tunning on this engine currently? also what intake, carb, and jetting are you running? im thinking of making an adapter plate to run a ct/dio reed intake. or do you know of one already made? Im leaning towards one of my top plates with a 18-24mm walbro diaphragm carbs. I really like the throttle response im getting on my chopper spree with a 22mm walbro. love your progress with this build. its the reason I decided to build this junk motor for my spare express instead of using the 160cc gy6 I already have. love these 2 strokes!! the case ports on an nc50 are just as big as the hobbits. plenty of potential.

PLAYDOUGH! I was able to find a Derbi head w decomp. The Derbi head I have has the holes elongated to fit the hobbit case. keihen PC20 20mm carb and 38/85 jets? I may have posted it earlier. I GET most parts from treatland.tv. PA50ii intake. The intake runner I think is too long. It’s a heat sink and I think it’s allowing gas droplets to form. Going to try to tuck it under with the new rear subframe

New polini piston in. Has a much larger boost area and skirt matches perfect. Needed to add 2 washers to studs to allow for proper torque. head is huge.

Working on some carb placement options. Test fit. I don’t like my long intake but may be the only option w the PC20.

Could you saw a section out of the middle and join the two halves with a rubber coupler? In 2strokes,the shorter the better...
