I'm coming back to this to declare a victory. I ran 60+ miles last weekend, plenty of time at WOT, and never got over 280F. It got into thee 270s a few times and I'd back off a bit with no traffic behind, and/or enough of a gap in our group. Never an issue - I never needed to back off when I really needed to hold WOT. I went through an entire tank of gas, kept up with 150cc and 300cc Vespas - not that they were going WOT and pushing to max, but I kept up with however fast they wanted to ride on 45mph hilly roads where speeds got to around 60mph. I honestly think I could have cooked my top end without this mod, and maybe that means there's something else wrong with my setup, but - in the end - I think it's good in this configuration and that makes me super happy / relieved / etc This is all on my black zuma with mods in sig - Yippee!

Congrats on the Stock looking Fan Mod . You spent alot of time getting this right to get good safe temps and high speed . With the speeds your running. The bigger fan is not holding you back .
Those Long High speed runs and part throttle runs really test if you have a safe tune .
Could you take picture of your airbox mods so others can see ? What kind of filter are you running in the airbox ? What is your jetting set up main jet ,needle position ,pilot ? What is your top speed now?
Your Set Up is good solid one for the next guy to build towards.

Thx Zino and you have a great idea there. I'm not sure on jetting and I'm pretty sure the airpox is one I bought that looks stock but is supposed to be a bit larger, and pretty sure it has a stock filter element in it.
I think I should take it all apart and document it, maybe do a video. I enjoy that stuff - just need to get around to it.
For top speed, I'll get the Strava app going again - that seems to be pretty accurate. I can even use the Garmin device from my bicycle - I think that's more accurate than the phone.
