Now whilst i own two 2 strokes my other interest is classic cars, i've owned a few over the years and restored two but this thread is about my keeper car, a 1980 Vauxhall Cavalier Mk1 1600 L 2 door. I've owned LVF 570V since July 2002, built in Antwerp, Belgium and registered on 15th March 1980. Tricentrol, Mile Cross Lane, Norwich supplied it new to a Mr N Middleton, Easton. he owned it until 1998 when he had only clocked up 33K. The 2nd owner lived in Spalding, Lincolnshire but never used it in the 4 years he had it. I then bought it for £475 and for the 1st year used it daily, but realising it was too good for this it has only been used summer time for shows and days out and has been garaged from new. LVF has every single piece of paperwork from new including every MOT, tax disc, order form and new car invoice. The paperwork is very weighty and shows it's been well looked after. Over the years i have done various jobs to improve it condtion wise and as it's virtually original i'm trying to make it look nice but not over the top. According to the owners club (of which i am a member) mine is one of only 5 2 doors known to survive. Anyway, enough waffle, pictures.

You don't see em that nice too often! Especially in te UK where its always raining and everything is rusted away in the blink of an eye. Here in Holland since a couple years the opel B manta gained fame thanks to the movie 'new kids'. Maybe you've seen these guys before?
