I took these items, 6 in. ratcheting bar clamps(harbor freight) 2 x 6 x 12 Piece of wood 4.5" Inch (120mm) Aluminum Lazy Susan Bearing(amazon) And came up with this. The lazy suzan bearing is so you can rotated the clutch into position while the spring is under pressure & have open access to install nut. Still need to router all the corners and paint with the truck bed liner paint(grip the rear pulley when loosening/and tightening nut)

You can use a spare tire with a big center hole to hold down the clutch while you put on the nut. I just use my feet.

I just lock the nut in a vise and use a rubber strap wrench to break it free. Then put it on the ground and push down with my feet to get it apart.

I do it without a tool myself, other than impact for tightening the large nut. I shared this for those that might be having troubles with this installing those pesky springs. 90GTVert aslo has a pretty slick diy dirt cheap tool for this as well.

I use an impact and my feet on everything but the TMAX. The spring for the 500cc is no joke. Would be the same story for most stuff 250cc and up. I have tried the DIY tool for the small stuff, but I can do an entire spring swap by the time the pulley is in the tool and beginning to be cranked down. Tools are just cool though, even if they don't get used much. Pretty slick idea gsx600racer. Thanks for sharing it. I'll move this to the tech area at some point.

For a long time i did 50's by hand till i ran into a 400cc bergman and a 500cc Xciting ! The Bergman slipped and the clutch flew 7 feet in the air that was it i made the tool! I did not want to look like i had been playing hockey in the shop with a clutch as the puck ! lol

Dont move it yet, I am working on a variant of your t-max version and want to add more build info for the first one. Thanks. Not trying to reinvent the wheel, just nice to have a collection of ideas out there, plus I like making/buying tools. LOL
