Homemade balancer for rear and front wheel

I took a road trip today to see 190mech. While I was there he turned an adaptor on his lathe for me. The adaptor is designed to allow me to use a spare kymco rear axle and a couple bearings to balance Kymco rear wheel and tire combos. The bearings are old Kymco crank bearings that just happen to slip fit the splined area of the axle. The pictures show the setup pretty well, but if you need more details I will be glad to help.
