Okay, so lets begin, this all started on a vento zip 1e40qmb short case. I wanted to try and make a cvt over range kit that doesn't break the bank. For short case minarellis, that means you jog guys, and short case 1e40qmb, you'll need a 61108 malossi belt. First run here is a completely stock cvt and engine. From 0-30 youtu.be/G0IqbKjySTAHere's the time it took to get to 30, and notice almost off the bat the drop in rpm and a bad topend speed (205lb rider) Now heres a video with the rear pulley and 611108 malossi belt installed youtu.be/5SC_GsKmsMITime to 0-30 top speed remained similar fake Front "koso" 99mm variator and "koso" 99mm fan pulley youtu.be/bxJLEkXtxFkTime to 0-30 Top speed after installing the front pulley with the same 99mm (rounding off here) Pics of the angle of the 122mm rear pulleys Belt wear before on front variator as bolt on Belt wear marked on variator I only sell the rear pulley for 70 shipped.the rear pulley in itself on a 100 percent stock engine even shows a nice upgrade to 0-30 and even a topend increase. Same roller weights as stock (4.0 grams) and stock rear spring.

Looks like you found a good source for the BWS100 TD! I played around with one a few years back. There are some gains to be had using one. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/11292/bws-100-info-discussing-partsThe lowend pickup was the nicest gain from this TD. Definitely a good budget over range pulley. Nice to see it's been previously tested

Food for thought, KOSO USA doesn't import a 99mm pulley... or any pulley for the Minarelli for that matter. If your Taiwanese source is selling you KOSO, it's very likely knockoff product as KOSO controls their supply chain very closely.

It was labeled as koso and came in koso packaging.so im only going based off of what measurements i have, and since the 15 spline variator kit (98.75mm) for a jog 90 seems to have a larger drive face than the 17 spline (97mm) "koso" variant.

Yeah, it's not authentic KOSO. They don't make that. Matt

Just so its a tried and true product. I'll keep giving this "koso" a run for longevity.but wont recommend it if its a fake. I will play devils advocate.it did make a nice difference in topend and does perform pretty nicely.

It would probably behoove you to stop referring to it as such or people will get confused. Matt

Matt Fixed original comment stating they are in fact fake "koso" parts so there is no confusion. I'd still like to remind this thread is merely for the rear pulley and the effects with a workable variator, shame this was a fake variator kit. Might as well be nameless kit than steal kosos name.
