So how much did you pay finally for everything? The scoot plus all the added parts. somewhere near 5k. It’s really an awesome ride. Dead reliable and pretty quick. Cruises at 65-70mph with ease seated upright. Handles amazing with the new suspension. And brakes instantly with the 4 piston caliper and oversized rotor. Can’t get enough of this thing. Instant wheelies from a 15mph roll. It’s incredibly fun to ride.

Too bad it lost against Rudnik's Miata but that car's power is just brutal!

Yea. A 400hp Miata vs a scooter is a far fetch. Lol. But my black scooter beat him. 😈

I'd love to see your Strada and Aerox in a 3-wide race with a bone stock 49cc. Stock Minarelli (clone or Zuma) would be the most fair comparison, but whatever you can get your hands on. Stock scooter rider definitely needs 1 of the helmet cams so one angle can be watching the tuned scoots leaving. That would be an excellent way to showcase just how much different the spectrum is from high end racing to stock. More effective visual than displaying 0-30, 1/8 mile, etc... IMO. If you can find a stock 2T local (maybe someone here is near enough) and have anyone that you trust to pilot one of your scoots, that could be an excellent video IMO. You do great vids so don't take too much advice from me, but I had to put that idea out there in case it was of any interest because I'm sure a lot of us would like to see it.
Then the next video could be taking them all on a 1 day 250 mile ride to see how each one fares. lol Seriously though, I think the race would be a great visual that would not only show the difference, but maybe why these things can be so fun/addictive to mod. A lot of people just think we're scooter dorks, but we can get more of that tuning high that all modders love when they change setups with less investment than cars and big bikes.

Also shows the difference between a stock and modded 2t vs stock and modded 4t. The latter has way smaller spectrum.

If anyone is game i would love to do those comparisons! I have a gy6 scooter that is modded to 170cc with a big valve head and a9 cam too. Easy to ride. That one should be a little closer to the aerox in a drag race. I can’t find anyone with scooters in this area. A few groms here and there is it.

While we're on the subject, does anyone know what is the largest brake disc that will fit inside the rear wheel? (have several sizes available to me on the secondhand market, but don't want to buy one from across the world and then find it doesn't fit cheers guys Tom.

The rear disc actually fits inside the wheel rim. It's quite close to the wheel as standard. You are not going to be able to go up much from the 190mm disc that's standard. A better quality disc with more friction. With good pads would be your best bet. Most braking is done on the front brake anyway. Lots of big brake kits for the front, where there is no size restriction.

You can also put twin discs on the front if you can find a pair of the rare stage 6 wheels, but Ih havent seen it done much , I suspect the stage6 285mm disc with 4 piston caliper is quite sufficient , even the 4 cylinder Team Cristofolini bike makes do with the one disc

I've just got an RPM 4 piston with a 220mm disc on the front of my Triton and I got my rear wheel just barely off the ground last weekend in a panic stop. I felt an odd combo of tire slip and grip that made me think I was coming off of it. I think huge and twin setups would largely be for show on most small scoots and more likely to cause you trouble if you grab a handful, plus you're adding unsprung weight.

You can get a get a good one here for under $1500 now, I almost bought one for 2k a few months back with full stage 6 kit , suspension, brakes everything for just over 2k..
