Why don't they just have a big rolling A-frame and some jib cranes?
I thought we were going to see the boat version of a car crusher. Or maybe a fireworks display when the crane hit the power line.

That crane did look a bit overkill for the little boat. I'm sure 4 big Welsh rugby players could of lifted it in. 😉

I think due to the proximity of railings banking and buildings they lift them out of the inner harbour in winter into the car park and put them back in water this time of year.

Hmmmm, a big forklift could have done that. Your mate has one at his shop I used a real big one at a concrete pipe plant back in my youth during the dark ages. If I remember right it could lift 60000 pounds. That is 30 of them short tons. We used another one inside the plant that was rated for 37000 pounds for the little stuff.
