hello, great site have learned so much in the last few days, bought it used, seems the guy rode it only, no repairs or upkeep. everything repaired (almost everything) runs great now. speed restrictor gone, green wire cut, carb adjusted , pipe opened up, cvt reset, tops out @ 48. it is a beamer matrix 49cc, will mainly be used when we are camping . smokes a little, checked the oil adjustment cable was loose & way out of adjustment, can't seem to find any threads on how to adjust or which way to start. nothing on the net about it. would prefer not to premix. any suggestions? other than premix.

Any oil injection I have had dealings with had an index mark on the lever (the cable hooks to), and the pump body, that you line up at an idle (using the cable adjuster).

I love premixing. Love the smell of the oil and the gas. It is relieving to know you are getting just what you want at the jet.

played with the cable adjuster, till it just slightly smokes, might help with the mosquitoes.
got a little carried away, opened the exhast & modified, ported the intake, checked the reed , fine tuned the metering rod off idle & changed the main jet. reset the carb. wow can't believe its only a 50cc. wife should be happy now. like they say happy wife happy life. lol. will check plug after a few rides & check after a hard pull. Hmmmm big bore kit? thanks all.

tried it this weekend camping rode into town 30 miles, around & back ran great checked the plug, perfect. pulls strong & tops out on the flat @ 47mph 2 up. wife went for a ride was gone 45 minutes, thought it broke down, nope she had a blast & loves it more than her motorcycle. Thanks again. ps played with the injector cable, 1/4 turn @ a time till I got it where I want it. remembered that 2 stroke oil lowers octane. Hmm all is good, well till winter & I'm bored. lol
