My scooter's electric kinda died. The electric ignition won't work but the kickstart does and I can at least drive. I charged the battery and the problem persists. While driving, the headlight and brakelights, speedometer, fuel gague work fine, but the horn makes a weak sound, the hi-beams are dim, and the turn signals won't blink and make a nasty buzzing sound. Any help would be appreciated! :scoot2:

Have you checked the fuse?

Yep! Even changed it for good measure. Now I don't know if this makes a difference, but the problem started the night after I had a shop change my rear brakes. I asked them about it and they assured me nothing involving the rear brakes could be causing the problem, they even opened the brake area and looked.

Make sure the ground wires are attached. There's one from the battery to the frame and from the frame to the engine. They are usually either gray or black.
Have you tried crossing the poles on the starter relay? That will tell you if the starter is bad or not. If the starter turns when you cross the relay poles then un-plug the relay plug connector and test for voltage on the scooter side of the plug when you are pressing the button. No voltage and you have a problem with the start button.
