As much as I ride a Yamaha scooter, I would never buy another. Their styling just doesn't grab me at all. Their sport bikes are another matter though!

that is what the 2012 zuma 50 is based off of so it will get zuma style and have a front disc brake but it still keeps that huge hump in the floor

Nice looking but slower than a brick and there is very little out to mod them and then it is very expensive to do so.

I test drove both the C3 and my Zuma before I bought the Zuma. I loved the way the C3 handled but I couldn't get myself to go with a 4t. The look didn't both me either. Their isn't a lot you can do with the C3 either, Mods wise.
As much as I hate that the Zuma is going to a 4t that's a great engine the C3 has. I also love the fuel tank in the floor board (the hump).

I seriously object to: buying/being sold, a scooter that looks like a crapper. The Yamaha C3 looks just like that....... a crapper (right out of one of those cheap-a55 trailers), just be sure to lift the seat, eh?

The storage compartment sucks! They claim all this storage but it's not deep enough to store anything really.

Storage?
If I want storage I'll build another barn..... if I want to haul stuff I'll take a truck with me.

i like the triple tree forks and inverted fork legs, kinda like a mx bike. and you def get more respect on a 4t due to the deep tone, and the fact your not like "waaaaaaaabrrrraaaaaahhhhhhh, bmmmmm brahhhhhhh bing bing bing binggg" everywhere you go. but it does look like something that would be driven around in germany during wwII if it was just green or something. lol if i went 4t i might just get a ruckus, but i love my vento much more anyway.

With the C3 that's one of the things they throw all over their ads. How it has so much space and blah blah blah. Really though it's not deep enough to hold really anything, at least not gear. Area I'm in I wouldn't feel comfortable enough to leave my helmet even for a sec. outside.
