I have A 04 triton r4 it was getting harder and harder to start it stopped running it sits there and cranks but wont start it is getting plenty of gas cause i can smell it it has 5000+ miles it has compression all electronics work as they should so dont think its stator can anyone tell me most notorious issue with these for no spark i dont have alot of money so can just order anything i need this fixed asap can anyone tell me where i can get my parts cheap and very fast my scooter has a new battery im thinking its in the ignition coil what does a cdi do will this stop spark?
ive been very busy trying to get this to start i barely touched the igniotion coil one night got spark somehow one little bit then nothing
i have plenty of compression finger over spark plug hole compression tries to push finger away....new battery..new spark plug....gets gas....fuse not blown

Have you taken the carb apart and cleaned the jets? My 05 Triton did the same thing when I rescued it - cleaned the carb and jets and then it ran fine. Try putting a finger in the carb throat to restrict air too if the filter box is off. If it fires then - or with starting fluid - you can be pretty sure it is the jets. These bikes do not run well without the air box.
My tank was rusted clogging the jets. But that is another story.....

i did clean the jets may try again when i got it it was hesitant on starting 2nd start it started fine geot worse at starting and worse then wouldnt start it floods out quick has no spark clean off plug cause its soaked in gas then try spark test and no spark even with plug clean also what plug does my scooter take i wanna make sure i have the correct one......also what would the scooter act like if auto choke(enricher) is bad?
i love this scooter but its making me mad as hell

The plug should be an NGK BR8HS, BR8HIX (iridium version). One heat range either way (7 or 9) would be OK.
If the enricher is bad it usually starts up fine acts fine until it's warmed up and then it's too rich so it can have idle or driveability issues.
The disappearing spark and touching the coil to get spark sounds like a coil or connection issue to me. Make sure all the wires to the coil and spark plug are secure.
