Since i was a little kid i've been interested in anything with an engine, especially cars. Classic cars are a huge part of my life and i've been in the scene 30 + yearsbut anything with wheels has my attention. Here's my little collection 1980 Mk2 Raleigh Grifter Bought 4 years ago for £10 this was nothing but frame, forks and crusty wheels. I bought everything and it's now as new. Another 1980 Grifter which i've built from scratch onto a BMX style. The previous owner fitted the forks but it was very tatty, again this was fully sorted with loads of new chrome and parts. The seat was my start point and this came together very well. 1982 Mk1 Raleigh Bomber, bike i wanted as a kid but my folks couldn't afford. I hunted for ages for one and this again was a wreck that had the full resto treatment This is a full British designed and built bike, a 1987 Mk1 Strida. this is frame number 549 This is my 1978 Mobylette 50V which i've owned since last March, it had been off the road since 1983 and is a local Norfolk bike with 4 owners from new and just over 4K miles. This i use to bimble around on when the sun shines. and here's my pride and joy that i've owned since 2002. My Vauxhall Cavalier Mk1 1600L

Nice collection. I remember riding a grifter. My cousin had one. With a twist grip throttle, rubbish for wheelies.

Very true, the Grifter was the forerunner to the BMX. They weigh a ton.

When I moved to England, the Raleigh Burner was popular. My brother had the mag wheel burner. When it came out it was so radical. Mag style wheels, and the 360 headset. Which allowed you to spin the handle bars round.
