First, the 35 mile ride to visit Mom, then, off to Heritage Park in Taylor, MI for day 2 of the Junior League Baseball World Series. Around 75 miles, total. Little League gets all the love, and publicity, but the Junior League world Series has been held in Taylor for almost 40 years. Junior League players are a year or two older than Little League. This year's International teams are from Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy, Australia and Taiwan. US teams are from Florida, Maryland, Iowa, Oklahoma, and California. I like baseball, what can I say? Besides that, my roommate is from Taiwan, and Taiwan, (or, Chinese Taipei), almost always wins the Asia Pacific region.
