The other day I was riding and all of a sudden I hear a clink and then what sounded like slipping gears, so i took the cvt cover and clutch off and both looked fine. So then there's what I think is the "rear driveshaft" coming out of a cover. So I take the cover off and see this: So the "rear driveshaft" gear is fine so I pick out the gear sitting behind that: The second set of teeth on it are very worn down and were what was causing the slipping: So what is this part called? and how can I go about finding it for my scoot? This is the only info I can find on the scoot:

It has 13 teeth on the small gear and 48 on the big gear. The idle shaft in the link you posted looks right but is 13x52. Will it work?

No. You need the primary and secondary gear sets to be matched up.

So I'm going to have to buy a new secondary and primary gear? Or is there somewhere I should be able to find a 13x48 secondary gear? Also thanks for the help and great information database, I've been reading through your posts in the 2t engine tech forum and have learned a great deal.

They can be separated and a new gear pressed on. It would be a lot easier if you could find the appropriate grouping though. Someone's probably got it, just not sure who.

Yes I would definitely prefer to have the appropriate grouping because I'm not sure I have the tools necessary to separate and press a new gear on. I just sent an email to scrappydogscooters so hopefully they have it.
