i would have to cut this much (about 8mm) off the bottom of the Hoca jug to get the bottom of the transfer ports at BDC. ...awaiting the next move.

I have an arrow pipe for my setup but one of the springs broke and it was leaking like crazy. So I put the pg short back on and it runs better imo so I'm in no rush to put the arrow back in service. I'm running a corsa, stock crank, Naraku intake, oko 24 with an uni pod filter, Polini variator, Dr pulley hit clutch (107mm), and 8.4:1 gearing. It rips and has been as reliable as the sun. Hey what are your plans with the Arrow exhaust, if you still have it? I was looking at the arrow and I really like the looks of them

If you really want to use that cylinder, you will need to find a 44 to 47mm stroke crank and make it fit the engine..Then the proper length con rod or piston swapped to make it all work..Yeah,that aint easy bolt in stuff, but the shipyard guy told you the real deal!!

i hit the Easy button for now and picked up a Taida 50mm for stock stroke.

If you get the squish and durations right,a C16 for a vertical Yamaha could be adapted to it,that would be waaay better than those snakey Honda pipes from Japan...

It's a Taiwan chamber that is designed for 80-90cc and it's selling for $325. If they still have it next weekend (payday) i was thinking of buying that pipe. Or i can see if the shop owner can order me a c16. I appreciate your input!

I know the C16 dimensions and it's proven performance, its very hard to beat..Dont know anything about the other pipe,if they can supply some detailed dimensions I'll be glad to see what kind of build it really is...

Thanks 190mech! The Taiwan pipe: said to be "good" by the shop owner. All i was told is that it's non-stainless and sent to them by a guy from Taiwan. Now that you mention the c16, i might explore that route. I know the quality and performance is there with the Yasuni, and it would probably be cheaper than the $325 Taiwan chamber. Just gotta wait and see how much play money i got on this coming paycheck.

I'm following this one closely. I'm also interested in a 50mm bore but on a 43.5mm Rumia Mini stroker crank. Finding the right pipe has been a head scratcher. If you decide to do the SSS adapted C16 I will vouche for the Yasuni. I own a Yasuni C16 for minarelli, the hype is for real. Really great build quality imo. If you decide against the Yasuni setup maybe look into JISO or Jayaco pipes. They are very popular around here with Honda tuners. I sent an email to JISO about matching a pipe to a 88cc Dio setup. They said that either of these pipes will do well, very similar to the Jayaco pipes I see floating around on 90cc~ builds. I've been told a few times that a PG Long is a great pipe for stroker setups. Apparently it has a rather long tuned length and that matches the lower revving stroker setups well.

I been scpoing the vertical C16 on SSS but i think it just sold out. The last time i went to 808Cycles the taiwan 90cc chamber was gone. Ultimately, my final alternative will be the Scooter Alley mid Scorpion. PG longs are cool but they are notorious for falling apart internally, i think the baffle breaks free from the internal welds. There is a PG long "flip cone" for sale locally on CL for $150. Im thinking about buying it just to have it. The "flip cone" did surprisingly well on the SSS dyno exhaust shootout. I got some play money now so I'm just going to have keep checking in at 808cycles. I saw a stainless stroker pipe on the rack at the store. It looks like the ones listed on Feebay as stoker pipe for Dio.

I've heard similar things about the flip cone. Not available to me unfortunately.
SSS was selling a prototype stroker pipe for Dio, meant for the 90cc category. It was a two cone pipe too, not a single cone like the JISO or PGs. I'll have to ask them about that pipe, see what the deal is with it.
Why not run the Arrow you have? I've heard nothing but positive things about the Arrow pipes, especially for the lower revving cast cylinder builds.

I know of 1 shop that i seen pics of a guy welding up PG longs. In regards to the Arrow pipe, im saving it to run that with the MHR replica bore kit. I figured that it is better off paired with a 47mm bore. Im looking into the C16, but i would have to fabricate the adapter. If 808cycles brings in more of the Taiwan 80-90cc chamber, I'll probably jump on that for $325. The stainless steel stroker pipe (looks like a big PG long) was also priced at $325. But they are expecting a shipment of Scooter Alley Scorpions. If they bring in the mid Scorpion pipe, I'm definitely going to buy one of those. A lot of DIO guys love the Scorpion pipes. Im pretty sure the Scorpion can rev higher than the Arrow pipe.
