I have a Kymco People 250 out in the shop that squeaks when you bounce on it. I sprayed silicone lubricant on the pivot points but it didn't help. The engine was hot from a ride making the silicone spray hiss and steam when I sprayed it on the motor mounts. I vaguely remember someone saying not to spray WD40 on them cause it'll deteriorate the rubber bushings. I was thinking greasing them but I would have to pull the body back off and it's no picnic.
What can I spray on them other than WD40? I have some white lithium grease spray.

The problem is: very likely the "squeaking" is the center bolt(s) riding in the metal bushings. If the center bolt(s) are tight spraying stuff on there isn't going to "fix" it. You should have assembled with grease, or never-seize.

Thanks! I figured that it was the center pivots mostly and that grease was the cure but I was hoping maybe there was some magic spray. I just spoke with the owner and we agreed that she's going to live with the squeak until the next tune-up.
