lol OK, for the simple answer just read 2strokd's post. If you wanna make sure you actually order the correct parts (there are variations of jog/minarelli parts) check the link I posted. Check out the banners on the main page of the forum for a few good sources as well as the reviews section of the forum.

Different Minarelli engines have parts that look the same but they have different dimensions.
What parts are you looking for?
Would you say your mechanical ability is great, good, fair, or poor?

Stock carbs are usually 14mm. You can get aftermarket stuff like the DellOrto or Arreche in 17.5 and 19mm.

The only difference I've seen in the E-Ton carbs is that some are manual choke. Otherwise, same old 14mm. I've seen people call them different sizes a lot. I'm not saying none of them come with larger carbs, but most are 14mm venturis... they just happen to measure 18 or 19mm at the outlet which I think confuses people. Lots of reports of 18mm Mikunis. The Mikunis I've have were 14mm just like the Leaders and other generic stuff.

Wow 90GTVert :stars: After crash-coursing on stuff that will work on my Eton, I read a few sites(Zuma) that said it was 18. Knowing carbs, I totally understand what you are saying. I was so impressed with your Beamer BigBlock Build-up I boommarked your page before I even got the bike, so your word is it for me :thumb: Mine is a manual choker . . . Did Eton use one specific type for the manuals ? Also, no paperwork came with my bike, it was a back-of-the-shop, last-one-leftover-for-cheap. Any idea what number in the serial # will tell me what year it is ?? As always, thanks for help !

Not really sure on that stuff. I don't own a Beamer, just worked on a couple. Didn't pay a lot of attention to anything I didn't need to to get the jobs done. Can't find any tags on the frame or under the seat or anywhere? My Ventos and my Keeway all have some sort of VIN plate or other ID plate somewhere on them that state a year of manufacture. It's under the seat on the Keeway and it's tucked up near the gas tank on the frame on the Tritons. You could try this if you have the VIN and no other info can be found... www.analogx.com/contents/vinview.htm

On the Eton Beamers its under the right plastics of the body. Welded to the frame. That's where it was on my 06 Beamer. Mine had a manual choke.

thanks for replies guys !
I can find the tags, I just wanted to know what digit in the serial #would represent the year. My bike is sort of weird in that It was sitting in the back of an Off-Road shop with about 1" of dust on it. They were into a lot of 4-wheel stuff. They were ending their Eton dealership contract and wanted to get rid of the scooter. Im pretty sure it was the last one and wonder if it wasnt a parts mule for customers bikes where they picked some parts off of it and then replaced them when they wanted to sell it(?). I pulled it apart to track down an electrical glitch in the starter and it was obviously apart before. I can tell its all brand new, but for some reason, the front end plastic, wiring harness and floor plastics had all been off and the harness looked like it was retaped. :scared:
Oh well, It works great now and I love this bike ! :riding: Going out today to see if the Stella dealer will take my Heifer(Burgman 400) in on trade on their last Stella 2T.
Skiink1113, not trying to hi-jack your thread, just saw "Eton" and thought piggybacking might actually be a good thing. We dont get too many posts on Etons, might as well load up while we can, he he
