Anybody know anything about the mc54 250b 2008 by Rocketa? I have a chance to buy one and I'd like to know a bit about them!!

I owned one early one in my scooting life. They are big powerful scooters and Honda Reflex clones. Water cooled and carbed you can ride them all day. The plastics can be brittle so be careful. They do have the Linhai VOG 260 engine and there are parts available for them. The valves are a breeze to adjust but the A/F screw is pretty much impossible to adjust. I would use a screw bit held with pliers to do it. I read about people that would pull the carb and make an adjustment, put it back on and see how it worked. The Voltage regulator/rectifier's tend to go on them and there is a guy out west that makes solid replacements. Working on it I learned a lot about 4 stroke engines and what to do and not do. In the end I sold it because it was more scooter than I wanted, it reminded me of my old BMW K75 in size. If the scooter is in good shape and runs it could be a good purchase for a big touring scooter but not a great choice for around town.
