You have alot of new parts wearing in Crank ,Cylinder,Gears. To pick up a few Miles per Hour A Notch lighter weights going from 5 to 4.5 might Juice Your Rpms a notch .
I have never built one to the Level you are at with a new crank . I've watched quite a Few Zuma's come together ,And 60 plus is serious Tuning . You will end Up a little bit of celing with your pipe at just over 60 . The wall of Wind for every 5mph is hard to over come . The Best Pipe I have Run on my set Ups is the Yasuni R it is quite a pipe but Hitting 11k rpms with power is probably above its paygrade. Your Crank could handle a hotter pipe and you have the Carb for it Also On Zuma Forums we had a ton of guys talk about 60 ,65 and 70 mph Zuma builds. Only a couple could provide video proof and most cross posted on here vaporz, pig, spaz They all ran hotter pipes C16's was used most often on the fastest builds .

Funny you mention that Zino... I’ve been debating a new pipe recently. I want to keep this streetable and not crazy “peaky.” Would a C16 be the best bang to get me a few more mph while still maintaining a fairly wide powerband? Polini For Race 4? I feel like ryan_ott may have an opinion here.

Its the Quest for Speed . We always want to get just that next couple of MPH
I am trying to see how far I can Push a under 10 k rpm build So I am swapping On a Athena Sport on my Zuma right now . Paired with The Yasuni R . The Malossi Sport I am replacing was still going strong . It was topping out in that 9300-9500 range with a Tecnigas Next R The Athena single ring Will Rev just a little higher than that ported Malossi . I am not as lucky to have a Polini head laying around To get Squish below 1 So I have to deck the Head .

Your vote counts for two 190mech haha! Zino Quest for speed without a doubt. Also, the only performance pipe I've ever run is the Yasuni R. I've had three of them haha. I'd like to see how something different (and why not faster) feels. You'll have a very similar build to mine. Let's me know I've done something right lol.

Turns out the drill method doesn't really apply to the stock '02-'11 fuel petcocks. They're a little different and operate off a little plunger that's in the tube coming from the tank and you can't just stick a drill bit down the hole to get to it. I just cut the plunger off (there's also an o-ring around the plunger I already removed in the pic) and sanded the area flat. Took about two minutes. Here's a pic of two of the exact same petcock internals, with the modified for gravity fed one on the left. Put about 25 miles on it so far and seems to be working very well.

I vote for the C16. It’s a good all around pipe for a better then average cast build, something in the 9-9,500 range but it equally as happy reving out to 11,500 or more with single ring aluminum, something that has a bridged exhaust.
You can use many of the 80’s Yamaha petcocks for manual function. 2GU245000200 is one number that will work. Some have 3/16 barbs while others are 1/4.

I have ran a Athena sport with a leo vince zx and loved it . I had already picked up the Yasuni R on Boxing Day sale at Scootertuning to pair with the Malossi sport , I was going to put the Athena on One of my Vinos . Changed my mind after you swapped the polini head on the Athena . So we will end up with similar builds . Until you go C16

Now I just have to find a C16 at a reasonable price. That may be a challenge atm lol. I keep wanting to try a Polini pipe just because they look cool, but Yasuni makes such great stuff.
Now I'm dealing with a speedometer issue on my Koso DB-03. Very annoying. I have the whole thing wired up and the gauge has been working perfectly. Then, all of the sudden the speedometer starting giving crazy readings that went from 100mph one second to 23mph the next and everything in between. Most of of the time it just reads zero though. I thought I had it diagnosed as a loose wire when I started testing for conductivity. I even cut out and soldered in a new section of the wire, but it didn't fix the issue. I've also tried moving the pickup closer to the magnets and switching from three magnets to one, then back to three and I'll probably switch back to one just to eliminate as many variables as possible.
Anyone have any ideas?

Dont fix it . Just You tube yourself doing a 100 mph with your build and start flaming it all over You tube. And then say something that Yasuni R is probably holding me back and if I get a bigger Carb and some better gears I push over 120 mph .

The only store showing them in stock is Racing Planet and I just read in another thread somewhere that Racing Planet likes to list things as "in stock in EU warehouse" and then cancel orders. So I guess we'll see what happens.

I have avoided Racing Planet for just that reason .
This is where Scooter Tuning,Parts For Scooters shine . I Like it when I can make a call ask a question will this work with this . They pull it off the shelf put my order in a box and within the week its at my house.
