Basically. Line up all the marks when you reinstall the cam, set the valves, do the rest of reassembly.
I'm guessing there's nothing sticking out of the head that you could grab onto with vise grips to remove the broken studs? If they're broken off flush or recessed then you'd wanna consider left handed drill bits or easy outs. I'd at least consider attempting to remove the studs after you've installed the new head. Good practice and you may end up saving the head.

You can take the head to a MC shop, auto mechanic or a machine shop and have the studs removed by a pro. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much.

okay taking the head to a mc shop sounds like cheapest route cuz my scoots been running fine and instead of 50$ on the new head i wanna do this project: instead take the head off take it a mc shop cuz the studs are stickin out a tad more then a 1/4 inch and i wanna attempt to redo my piston rings because i know there bad cause yesterday when i changed my oil i put it at the right amount and i lost performace and starting sputing out and lost vaccum to my fuel line i had to pull over and suck on the intake manifold line to get gas back in the system whent home put a 1/8 of a quart of oil and problem fixed way more performance no sputing except rarly and no vaccum loss but now i have lots oil coming out the valve cover cause i have a free flow filter so what i wanna do is
Keep my head replace the studs in it replace the stock intake manifold replace all the fuel and vaccum lines with the upgraded clear one my cooling shroud is all melted so replace that replace the fuel petcock replace my belt cuz i can tell its really going bad and its affecting my performance i have an old exhaust from a 50cc but it has the egr thing on it will it affet my 150cc if i put it on and have it welded or somthin to the mounts
how do i redo piston rings on a 150cc??

My old Baron engine is mostly in parts 157QMJ 150cc, short case. PM me if you can use anything off of it.

If you have 1/4 or more sticking out then all you have to do is grind two sides of the studs flat opposite each other and use a crescent wrench to turn them out. Hit them with a shot of WD40 and let them sit a while so it soaks in before you turn them.
