So while perusing ebay the other day I impulse bought a malossi sport 70 A/C kit for a minarelli. The kit is complete except for the jug. My question could I just bore the stock cylinder jug for the malossi piston and how bad would it kill performance?

Kit without the jug ! That's just weird.
If it's even possible to bore your std cylinder to 47mm the cylinder ports are only designed for a modest power output. A Malossi sport 70 will be a huge improvement in comparison.

Think I might go this route.

Think I might go this route. Sweet! I think it's a good option, nice ports and all. Then you can just slap the whole kit together and get 2 smokin!

Dexameth how does the cylinder that's in universal parts kit part number 161-227 or 161-230 compare to the hoca

Boring out a cylinder more than just a small amount does not work. It throws the port timings way off.

Dexameth how does the cylinder that's in universal parts kit part number 161-227 or 161-230 compare to the hoca The blemished kits weren't machined 100%, so you may need to clean the ports up and bevel the edges of them, and the 161-227 kits are the same thing, just a cleaner finishing job to them.
