Where to buy quality rubber fuel line?

I have a new TaoTao 50cc scooter. I had an issue today with leaking fuel, which ended up being a quick fix. The carb drain screw came loose and the fuel was leaking out of there. A little blue locktite and that fixed that problem. However that got me to looking over my month old scoot. I noticed that some of the rubber hoses where they attach with the compession clamps are cracking. It only appears to be the hoses that carry air and not the fuel hoses. It seems the fuel hoses are marked with an EPA certified label and those hoses are not cracking, however the other hoses which only carry air to create a vacuum between the petcock and carb dont have any writing on the hoses and those are the ones that are cracking already. I did read a PDI guide and they did say it was best to replace all the hoses since they are cheap, I guess they were right.

I assume it is pretty cheap stuff and I might as well just replace all the hoses, even the ones that arent cracking yet just to be safe.

Any links to good hoses and how much I should buy? Should I use different clamps or use the existing ones?

you can get vac lines at any autozone, carquest, pep boys etc...they sell it by the foot.
measure or take a piece with you to get the right ID (interior diameter) and length, or just buy 2ft or whatever. if vac lines fit tight they dont need clamps at all.

Dayum...not cool. Sorry to hear about that, dude. Stick around though. I'm sure you're gonna replace it at some point and until then you should take the opportunity to learn all you can.

really sorry to hear that chunk i hope you have pics and a vin number. put the pics on CL on the off chance someone tries to sell it there. CL is kind of useless if you live in a small town or in the country though.

Thanks all. I do have pics and the VIN. Will try and put on craigslist. I live in Fairfield CT and craigslist is huge. Will see what happens. I may be quiet around her for a while but will definitely be back!
