I never did a build thread on this bike but I figured I should. It can be good for others looking for info on their own elite. Like maybe Kenho21 also I want to document some of the changes I'm going to make in my setup. So here's the current setup Polini corsa 72cc bbk Pg short exhaust Naraku intake manifold Oko (pwk) 24mm flat slide carb 108mj 45 pilot UNI dual layer pod filter Polini variator for AF16 Dr pulley HiT clutch with s6 springs and no pillow springs 8.4:1 final drive gearing CF Posh ignition coil w/ NGK CR2 lead NGK BR8HIX spark plug 90/90-10 continental zippy tires A little bling here and there Super simple bolt together setup, no port work, cutting, trenching etc. I'm a 145-150lbs rider and can hit 70mph in FAVORABLE conditions. Now some pics.

My future plans include a zx trans setup, a better rear shock, the one on there is just a generic one, and maybe a front disc setup if I can get ahold of a ncy stem, Im not willing to cut or weld the frame in anyway. For now though I'm desperate to ditch the tube rims so I have a set of metropolitan wheels I ordered a couple months ago, and just got them back from the powdercoater, now I need valve stems and I'll put some fresh shoes on it while the wheels are off.

Love the look of those arrow pipes. Really suits the scoot.

I got an AF24 scoot and a Dio ZX AF35 spare engine. Can you give more details about the transmission swap? You're talking about the final transmission, right? What are you looking for with this mod?

70 mph is Crazy fast . Helped build close to the same setup . Corsa /Gears/Tires ,V8 pipe was 58 mph . On that little scoot it felt like a 100 mph.

The zx trans I'm referring to is the larger rear cvt pulley from the dio zx. My main goal with that modification is to see if the scoot will have better acceleration and off the line performance. Due to the super tall 8.4 gearing this scoot is a dog from a stop until about 15mph, then it gets on the pipe and takes off. I've tried multiple different clutch setups and belt combinations to no avail

Today I had some time and put the metro wheels, tires, and brake shoes. These malossi shoes seem kind of cheesy with the paint and stuff, maybe I should've went ebc, we'll see how these work out, hopefully the paint doesn't melt and make the brakes seize up. Sitting purdy with the fresh wheels. New 90/90/10 zippy out back and I reused the front because it's still perfectly fine. Stock wheel was cracked, this thing has had it I would say. I didn't get a chance to go on a descent ride since it's been raining here but maybe by next weekend I'll be able to get this thing on the road and report back. While the rear wheel was off it looks like the base gasket has minor seepage, I may freshen it up with a new piston and gaskets or I might throw a fresh bore on it... It does have about 20,000 miles over the past 6 or so years, so it may be time.

Are those the largest tires you can squeeze on? 70 MPH is screaming fast! I might do the same thing as far as gearing on mine because my girlfriend would mostly be riding it and she prefers a less zippy start off the line. Is it so slow off the line that you would consider it unsafe in traffic? Absolutely beautiful build by the way. Love the looks of these things.

Thanks benjiKenho21 its not unsafe on the take off per say, it kind of takes off like a stock scooter until 10-15mph then its off to the races. However it does take off nicely when the cvt is cold, it's only when the components warm up that it looses its launch. My tuning may be to blame but I'm not screwing with the cvt until I get a zx setup, because even with the slowish take off I'm still happy with it.

20,000. miles on a 2T top end? WoW! What incantations are said over your oil? Is the bore hardcoated in some way?

20,000. miles on a 2T top end? WoW! What incantations are said over your oil? Is the bore hardcoated in some way? Yea, according to the stock odometer. It counts to 9,999 miles and ive flipped it over twice thus far. I commuted this thing for a couple years putting about 25mi a day on it. Ive always premixed with motul 800, it works, hasn't given me a problem, and I like the smell hah.
