Just watched missile from the east. It's a documentary about East German motorcycle racer Ernst Degner. Who defected to the west, bringing the secret of the two stroke expansion chamber with him.

Just found out that you can watch Halloween Kills the same day it's released in theaters for free on Peacock. I know what I'll be watching later today. One of my favorite movie series'. Not the most intellectual movies ever, but I'm a sucker for all but Halloween 3.

That video can be interpreted in several ways, but notice the totalitarian clown has a big red tie and social media is a controlling force for the dissemination of panic, misinformation, delusions, and control. Delete facebook, twitter, etc, turn off the TV, read some books, grow a brain...  |

Oh man. Brent's post triggered a memory. Picture it: Minot,Nodak,circa 1982. Yer boy jstich was a lad of about 12.A buddy in the adjoining trailer court had something called cable.It had Home Box Office that basically showed real movies on your tv. Promises of boobies and profanity were made. So I go over to watch (I think)one of the Halloween movies. I thought it was a cinematic masterpiece of course.Then the movie ended.Right,time to go home...alone.It was about 2 city blocks back home and was one of the most scary experiences of my life.I'm pretty sure if a kitten had meowed at me I woulda pissed my pants.I couldn't run because(duh) that always triggers a dude wot wants to chop you up with a meat cleaver.40 years later I still feel it.  |

Lava just goes where it wants to. Awesome.
I visited Mount St. Helen about a year after it blew. Mother nature dwarfs all of man's efforts. I was changing air filters in my car every week or so here in KC due to the volcanic ash. When I visited the volcano I drove for miles and miles past blown down trees, not a green thing in sight, -then I got close enough to see some of that valley where the lake wasn't any more. The road ended there and parts of the road was still slipping down the side of the mountain. The old man at the lodge was -gone-, kind of reminded me of the anti-vaxxers dying every day from the Covid, another of Mother Nature's revenge for the audacity of humans.
