Got the time to try and fix the choke today. However, something weird happen when i used the flip lever pictured above. I’m just confused why scoot idles witht he lever off and it dies the moment i flip it open. Like it does the opposite hahaha

If it is already idling without the enrichment circuit and you turn it on it is getting to much fuel and dies. Only needs to be on when first starting most of the time. Mine only needs it for the first 2 or 3 seconds at most. If I accidentally leave it on it will start to cough sputter etc.

A trick we always use with a manual choke/enricher when tuning. Run down the road in different throttle positions and at idle . If it runs better with the choke on we need to go up a jet or 2 on that circuit . So conversely if jetted right it should run like crap with the choke/enricher on because you are flooding it.

Unless its cold outside you can flip it off right after it starts.
