Hello everyone. I am new to the scooter word. I have a question that I hope some one can help me with. I have a chance to buy a dazon sicillian 125 scooter in good shape for $250.00 . my problem is I have searched the net for two days and haven't been able to come up with any info good or bad on this scooter. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks for any help.

:welcome: There is a review below as well as pics on the other link. 125cc GY6 powered Chinese scooter. Most Chinese scoots are pretty much on par with each other. They usually need a little attention, but if you are comfortable with tools it shouldn't be a big deal. If you're a big guy, sit on it first. Some of the retro styles scoots can be uncomfortable for large folks. $250 in good shape sounds like a deal to me.

Thanks for the reply. I read those but can't find anything else. Has anyone here had any experience with them. As for as reliability is it best to leave that Moter unmodified? What speed could a 200 lb person expect to get on flat ground?

I've never rode a 125. I'd say expect 50-55MPH flat ground on the 150, somewhere close to that with the 125. You can be reliable with mods, but generally the faster it is the faster it tears up.

Since I can't find much on this model and most chinese scooters are alike .which one could I compare it to when looking for parts and such?

For engine stuff, should be able to use parts from about anything with a GY6 125. For the body and frame...
