Hey! 250cc Honda Reflex rider from Michigan

Being mostly satisfied with "big scooter" forums, I still like forums for the smaller scooters too because you guys are some of the wildest, craziest, (in a good way) bad ass scooter enthusiasts out there. So many of you don't even bat an eye at some of the craziest mods done to your scoots.

I'm right there with you in stepping outside of the box and trying things that many wouldn't ever dream of doing. I mean, I use a car tire on the rear of my scooters... how sick is that? LOL!

I think I'm going to like it here... But watch out, I tend to go on and on some times when I post messages.

I have a Reflex clone with a 260 Linhai, and two Honda Helix 250's. There are several other members with bigger scoots here as well.

You ride all year in the Winter Hellscape of the mitten?

Not really... though one New Years eve (or possibly later into the
wee hours of morning after midnight) I got my 2004 Reflex Sport out
and did donuts in the driveway. What a hoot!!! (honest I was sober
as a saint) There have been other New Year days that I got one of
my scooters out and at least attempted a first ride of the New Year
around the block.

2001 standard Reflex basket case... Gonna sell it... cheap.

2004 Reflex Sport that needs a new battery and some body plastics. Plan is to sell this one also.
I rode this one alot. IIRC, it has 37,000 + miles on it.

2006 Reflex Sport ABS that is my current main ride. ABS brakes are nice IMO. Oh! and it pulls a
neat custom built single wheel trailer... (see my avatar) It is a keeper for a while until I decide to
maybe get another scooter to replace it. A 155cc Yamaha smax comes to mind.

2007 stripped down Reflex Sport with some modifications... and more to come to ultimately become
my streamlined scooter spaceship project:  "JAVELIN" .............. stay tuned.

2006 Big Ruckus project bike. Partially disassembled and intend to have it modified with a Reflex 
carb, Reflex right side swing arm to accommodate a disc brake and a 2nd rear shock. So bye, bye
to the Big Ruckus standard single rear shock and mediocre rear drum brake. But If my intentions 
end up being just that; intentions, then I'll put it back together, fix the variator, get it running again 
and then sell it too.

Recently sold a 2006 Honda Silverwing 600 ABS, so I don't have that one any more... Kind of reminds 
me about a joke where this guy is trying to impress his latest girlfriend by taking her to a high class 
marina and showed her all of his boats. A fast Cigarette sport boat, a couple yachts, a big sailing sloop,
a pair of different fishing boats, off shore racer and and 2 more other expensive boats. When he asked  
her which one she would like to take a ride in, she was kind of overwhelmed by the number of choices 
and could only kind of stutter and said. "WOW! There are so many to choose from. 9 big boats! Why do
you have 9 boats?"
He said:

"I have 9 boats because I sold one."

I own twin Helixes, and a slew of 50s. I'd love to have a built BigRuck.

I've thought about stripling the 86 Helix (sad, basket case) and trying to shoe horn the Reflex clone's 260 horizontal into it, its got a 13 inch wheel. I do believe the Helix frame, cut and stripped, with the Linhai and 13s would be a fun bike.

You should get a 2t 50, its slow, but man are they fun to make fast!!!
