m.youtube.com/watch?v=ddriLzJiC98Hi man, with that Youtube link is my scooter belt movement normal like it’s slapping? M using a dayco 808x16.8 belt as my stock 792 or 797x16.6 belt feels quite short and won’t reach the edge of the vario on WOT. Currently the dayco belt sits slighty out the edge of the TD while engine is off. Belt length looks just nice and will reach the edge of vario when manually testing it. First time i have seen my belt so shaky i was wondering where the noise came from and here it is all allong.

That is quite a bit of belt slap . On the back pulley how close to the edge are you at idle . Take a sharpie and make a mark from the inner to the outer edge on rear pulley .
For the front pulley test with a sharpie mark on the front pulley and go wide open down the road .
Measure both pulley in mm how much is left on the pulley on the inner and outer edge . so you should have 4 measures . The proper size belt with the right shims should have very similar belt travel on both pulleys . You might just need to shim the front pulley to clean up a good chunk of the slap.

Could it be the contra spring is to light not keeping enough tension, in the pulley system.
